Skincare Built From What Works
Every formula we make starts with the same question: will this actually hold up to a full day on the water? We're not chasing trends or padding ingredient lists to look impressive. Every ingredient in a Wrapped In Water product is there because it does a specific job — hydrating, protecting, repairing, or cleaning skin that gets put through more than most.
We keep our formulas short on purpose. Fewer ingredients means fewer chances for irritation, and it means you can actually understand what's in the jar. Below, you'll find a plain-English glossary of the ingredients that show up most often across our lineup.
Certifications
Our formulas are independently audited by Ecocert against two tiers of the COSMOS standard for organic and natural cosmetics. COSMOS Organic certified: Bass Thumb, Thaw Out, Reverse the Curse, Rower's Hand, and Hooked On Clean. COSMOS Natural certified: Hardwater Hands, River Rough, Slime Scrub, Mojo Mist, and Jinx Off. Offshore does not currently carry a COSMOS certification. You'll find the applicable certification listed on each product's own page, and a plain-English explanation of what each tier means in the glossary below.
Sourcing & Sustainability
We choose ingredients and packaging with an eye toward doing less harm, not just doing more marketing. That means favoring recognizable, minimally processed ingredients over synthetic fillers, working with a manufacturing partner who documents where ingredients come from, and packaging our products in containers built to be reused or recycled rather than tossed after one trip. We don't think a product has to say "green" on the label to actually be a smaller footprint — we'd rather just build it that way.
